DaSP was born in the laboratory, not at a desk. Since 2011 we have worked where analytical science meets reality: mass spectrometers to be fine-tuned, methods to be optimized, laboratories to be designed and teams to be trained — in food safety, in the environment, in clinical diagnostics, in pharma and biopharma, and in the research centers of the leading Italian universities.

From that daily practice came a conviction: only those who have spent years beside the instruments know what is really worth automating — and what must remain in the expert’s hands. We know the real constraints of an accredited laboratory, the nonconformities, the checks, the pressure of turnaround times, because we have managed them ourselves.

So we built LABNEXUS, our proprietary platform of AI agents orchestrated by AICertus™ and fed by a KnowledgeBase that distills our specialists’ twenty years of experience with the ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189 standards. The model is Human-In-The-Loop by choice, not by caution: every critical step is validated by an expert, because in a regulated environment responsibility is not delegated to an algorithm. And the data stays where it belongs: in Swiss data centers, sovereign and sustainable.

The laboratory is our starting point, not our perimeter. The method we have refined — deep domain expertise, verifiable AI, human oversight at the critical points — holds wherever quality is a matter of standards and not of slogans. DaSP remains what it has always been: a company of scientists that builds technology. First we understand the process, then we automate it. Never the other way round.
